Concept of the solar village
- Alleviation of poverty by improving the work, income and communication condition
- Financial sustainability: Inhabitants have to pay a monthly flat rate for their solar system until they own it. Thus sustainability of the solar system is guaranteed
- Maintenance and aftersale service will be performed by local technicians (managed by NRG Solutions)
- Long term engagement in the community
- Close monitoring & impact evaluation of the project (realised by Sevea)
- Implementation of a mobile pay as you go technology and capacity building of NRG team
